Flowering Quatrain Bookmark Pattern

Here it is.  I hope you like it.  Thanks to Krysta, Leah, Marla, Loretta and Fox for their help in test-tatting this pattern.

I said in a previous post that there would be more versions of this bookmark...  I did try other versions but none that I'm happy to share with you.  I made another in one pass which is closer to the original Quatrain design but it involved a lot of split chains and split rings and I didn't enjoy tatting it.

So I came back to this version which was my favourite.

This is so beautiful and I know it took a lot of time and effort from you and your test tatters. Thank you for sharing your work with us. Your pattern is formatted beautifully. It will be my project for tomorrow.

  11. Anybody else having problems accessing the pattern? I put it over at In Tatters this time as that lets me see how many times the pattern is downloaded... (I'm just curious like that!) - and also makes it available to In Tatters members who don't visit blogs.

  16. I have shuttles wound with "Mother of Pearl" HDT from Jess @ tatilicious. I've been looking for a good pattern to make to show off that colorway. This is the one. Thank you for sharing it with me.

  17. I know this is an old post, but I really love this bookmark! It doesn't look like either pattern link is working anymore. Would it be possible to get the pattern?

    1. Hello, I don't know why the google docs link is not working... I keep having problems with the documents stored there although I put the permission for everyone. Maybe in the new year I'll have to find the time to look for somewhere else to store them. Please write to me (by using the "Email Frivole" link in the right side bar and I'll send you the pattern.
